Tips on Networking

Some pointers on Networking as shared by Mr Jackson Tan, one of the speakers.

  • Smile is the most precious tool
  • Introduce yourself in a unique way  
  • Networking session is meant for networking per se.  Be mindful when we eat the refreshments provided and avoid getting oneself into a messy situation
  • Exchange name cards with potential contacts. Follow up with a call or email after the networking session
  • Be ready to give and avoid attending networking session with the intention to receive
