Venerable Ajahn Cagino, a Malaysian graduate of Liberal Arts and a photographer by profession before he was ordained, embarked on a journey to search for the Dhamma which led him to the forests of Thailand and New Zealand from the age 27 – 29.  He was ordained as a Theravada monk and spent the next 5 years under Ajahn Ganha in Thailand.  7 years later, he was re-ordained as a novice in Wat Pah Nanachat to live the monastic life in a new tradition.
