It's heartening to see that there are many people who remember the less fortunate while we celebrate Chinese New Year with our friends and loved ones.  Thank you to our volunteers who came forward to help upon receiving our request for assistance to mingle and chat with the elderly.  We invited about 170 elderly to join us in celebrating CNY this year at Telok Blangah and in Wat Ananda.  These elderly are mostly staying on their own in the 1- or 2-room flats near Telok Blangah and Bukit Merah.  As the 15-day CNY coincides with Valentine's Day, we also distributed flowers to the elderly.  It was lots of fun and laughter, for the elderly and ourselves!  Sadhu Sadhu Sadhu!
