Durian Feast 2010

It's the Durian season!! With many durian lovers amongst us, we decided to head towards Johor for a durian feast!

Before reaching Tangkat to eat durian, we went to offer dana in Dhamma Light Meditation Centre early in the morning. We were fortuante that the abbot Venerable Jutipanno was in and he gave us a short Dhamma talk. He explained that it is important to keep our morality and practise dana. It is also important that we should constantly strive to practise the 5 Precepts if we wish to be happy in life.

Taking Charge of Your Life

This WORKSHOP aims to inspire participants to make a positive difference in their life by discovering the great potentials that they possess and adopting an affirmative attitude and behaviour in taking charge of their life. In this workshop, participants will also acquire essential skills that motivate and guide them in achieving success in life.

Basic Buddhism Talks 2010

To start practising as a Buddhist, it is important for one to understand the core Teachings of the Buddha. ALL are welcome to attend.

Vesak 2010 Celebrations!

It's the day when the Buddha was born, gained Enlightenment and passed away into Final Nibbana. On this day, Buddhists gather together to commemorate this important day. Many would flock to the temple early in the morning until the evening.
